Privacy notice

How we handle the personal data we collect through this site and, once it is live, through the virtual assistant.

Draft

This text is a draft and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It is published so that the purposes of processing are readable from the start; before final publication it will be checked for the European Union, China and the Gulf states.

Who processes the data

The data controller is Sementi Conti, Via Montalboddo 18/A, 60013 Corinaldo (AN), Italy. For anything concerning personal data, write to sementiconti@omniahub.biz. VAT number to be confirmed.

What we collect

Only what is needed to reply to you. We do not ask for, and do not want, bank details, identity documents or special category data.

  • Name, company, email address, destination country.
  • Approximate quantity and the text of your enquiry, if you write them.
  • Date, time, IP address and site language at the moment of sending, as proof of consent.
  • Aggregated technical browsing data, to count visits.

Why we process it

To answer your commercial enquiry and, if you authorise it, to send you a copy of what you wrote. We do not profile, we do not sell lists, and we do not add you to a newsletter unless you ask.

On what legal basis

On your consent, collected before sending through two separate tick boxes that are never pre-selected, and on pre-contractual steps taken at your request. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by writing to the address above.

Who sees it

The people at Sementi Conti who handle commercial enquiries. The site is hosted on a server managed by a technical supplier acting as data processor. Nobody else.

Transfer outside your country

Sementi Conti is based in Italy: if you write from outside the European Union, your data is transferred to Italy. That is why the second consent is separate from the first and names Italy explicitly as the destination. If you are writing from China, that tick box is the separate consent to cross-border transfer required by Chinese law.

For how long

Twenty-four months from the last contact, if the enquiry does not become a commercial relationship. If it becomes an order, statutory retention periods for tax and commercial records apply. The consent log is kept for the same period, because it is the proof that we acted correctly.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object, and receive a copy in a readable format. Just write to sementiconti@omniahub.biz: we reply within thirty days. If you believe the processing is not lawful, you can contact the supervisory authority in your country.

Cookies

This site uses no profiling cookies and hosts no third-party advertising scripts. Visit statistics are collected in aggregate form by a system hosted on our own servers, without identifying individual visitors. When the virtual assistant goes live, this section will be updated with the technical cookies it uses.
