Forage seed since 1960
We grow, process and supply alfalfa (lucerne) and clover seed to distributors, cooperatives, feed mills and importers. A small company, one product, done properly.
We reply within one working day. No minimum order for a first sample.
We don't run a long catalogue. We do two forage species, and we have done for sixty years.

Service
We are a collection and processing centre for farms in the area. Growers bring in raw seed; we clean it, grade it and return it ready for sowing.
Anyone buying forage seed checks five lines before looking at anything else. Here they are, for our standard alfalfa lot.
| Parameter | Guaranteed | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Specific purity | ≥ 98.0% | on lot analysis |
| Germination | ≥ 80% | hard seed excluded |
| Hard seed | ≤ 20% | normal in legumes |
| Dodder (Cuscuta) | absent | the parameter that decides an alfalfa deal |
| Moisture | ≤ 12% | on delivery |
Every shipment travels with the lot analysis certificate. ISTA-accredited laboratory analysis available on request.
Four steps, no surprises. The first contact can be handled by the assistant on this site, in eleven languages.
Species, quantity, destination country, timing. Three lines in your own language are enough.
Technical data sheet, analysis certificate for the available lot and, if useful, a sample up to 1 kg for your own testing.
Price, packaging, container load, Incoterms. We normally work EXW and FCA; other terms on request.
Phytosanitary certificate, certification label, packing list. Departure from the port of Ancona or Ravenna.
Italy is Europe's leading alfalfa producer, and the Marche region is one of the historic areas for seed multiplication. That is not local pride: it is why seed grown here adapts well to dry Mediterranean and continental climates, from North Africa to Central Asia.
We are a small family business in a hill town in the province of Ancona. We do not have an international sales network — we have the product and the willingness to answer. This site exists to close that distance.
We answer in Italian and the system translates: you don't need to speak our language, and we don't need to speak yours. Three lines are enough to start.
