Alfalfa / Lucerne
Medicago sativa L. — erba medica
Our main product, and the reason this company exists. Seed of local Marche ecotype, harvested in the area and processed in our own plant: cleaning, grading and analysis on every lot before it leaves the warehouse.
Alfalfa grown in central Italy adapts well to dry Mediterranean and continental climates. That is why this seed travels to North Africa, the Gulf and Central Asia, and not only to the domestic market.

Clover
Trifolium spp. — trifoglio
Red and crimson clover, harvested and processed exactly like our alfalfa and with the same documentation. Volumes are smaller: it is worth asking before you plan a supply around it.
It is often requested together with alfalfa for pasture mixtures. If that is what you need, say so in your enquiry and we will quote both together.

Contract processing
Besides selling our own seed, we are a collection and processing centre for farms in the area. Growers bring in raw seed, we process it and return it ready for sowing.
This service is for the local area, not for export. We mention it because it explains how a small company comes to have a processing plant: working for others too keeps the plant running all year, and the people who operate it know what they are looking at.
How it works
- You bring in raw seed, harvested and already dried.
- Cleaning and grading: straw, soil, empty seed and foreign seed are removed.
- Purity and germination analysis on a sample.
- Return in bags, with a processing report.
